About Radio Eureka

Radio Eureka is a blend of many styles and genres of music as well as the latest news and information carefully selected by real human beings.

Radio Eureka was founded in 1996 , we produced an eclectic music program at the time called “Music For Misfits”. The show was based on the old Eureka Springs slogan “The Place Where Misfits Fit”  The program was produced and hosted by RE founder Jack Holly was the fist live Internet broadcast from Arkansas.

Radio Eureka made history again in 1998 with the first live remote Internet broadcast from Arkansas featuring live music from from the Basin Park Ballroom during the Eureka Springs Jazz Festival.

We have provided our listeners and readers with the latest News and Event Information about Eureka Springs and the area since 1993.

In in effort to go even greener ,  on Jan. 1st of 2010  our print edition , The Eureka Traveler  merged with Radio Eureka.  The Eureka Traveler website is redirected to radioeureka.com.
